The challenge
Team Olivia had a great need to improve the group's communication tools. The majority of all employees lacked effective communication tools and group management, and the local companies had difficulties getting information out to all employees. The group had several different email solutions and an intranet was missing.
The solution
Team Olivia introduced G Suite throughout the entire organization with more than 11,000 employees. In a first step, 600 employees were migrated from an office solution to Gmail. Subsequently, other employees in the group's various companies have been gradually added. Hangouts Meet is used daily, as is Chat. Google Sites has made it possible for Team Olivia to set up an intranet that includes all employees. With Google Cloud Print, the group's local offices have an ingenious solution that always works without the help of external consultants. Chromebooks have also begun to be used and are being introduced at an increasing rate in the organization.
The result
The introduction of G Suite has been successful in several respects. Team Olivia has gone from an email solution that was not adapted to the organization, to a common solution that includes all employees. They now have a broad solution for productivity and communication that includes email, productivity tools, intranet, chat and video calls. New collaborations, contacts, projects and knowledge exchanges have arisen among companies and employees in the group. The project is self-financed largely thanks to the avoidance of cumbersome, complicated and costly IT systems.

The group has approximately 60 companies established under local brands at just over 160 locations in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. 75 percent of net sales come from Sweden.
